#1

Air Filters

Have you ever looked into air cleaners? Are they effective at all?

#2

Aluminum Screens On Windows

[Aajonus]There's no way to get around it. [Kathy]Can I put some water from advanced water and just put some vinegar in it?

#3

Artificial Heat

As long as you've got enough plants in there to make good oxygen and there's moisture. So, you've gotta balance it. If you're gonna have your artificial heat, you've gotta balance the rest of your atmosphere.

#4

Asbestos and Fiberglass

Doesn't make any difference, you get plastic gases.

#5

Candles Emit Carbon Monoxide

[Attendee]So, what do you recommend?[Aajonus]I would use full spectrum bulbs. They're very expensive, but they work. Any candles produce at least carbon monoxides. If they're wax, made with petroleum. They have all kinds of poisons.

#6

Carpets

[Aajonus]That is a plastic epoxy that gets into your lungs.

#7

Clay Blankets

I just wanted to ask, you said ultraviolet light is good for you?

#8

Clothes For Cleaning

2006

[Aajonus]Yeah. That's what you should do. If you had regular city water, you should dry your dishes.

#9

Cockroaches

[Aajonus]They like cooked decaying food. Cooked decaying food is what they live on.

#10

Home Renovation - Milk Paint

So, that will solve your problems? [Aajonus]Well, there's milk paint made out of casein from milk. You have to mix it yourself, and it's a lot less toxic, but again, you still need to bake it.

#11

How To Clean Dishes - LA Water

2006

[Fred]What about rinsing with like bottled water or something?

#12

Humidifer

Would a humidifier relieve you temporarily?[Aajonus]

#13

Hydrogen Peroxide In Sparkling Water

[2005][Aajonus]You can do that, but let me tell you, if you use the carbonated mineral water to take a stain, remember that carbonated water is a natural peroxide. It's going to take the color out of whatever it is. So, even though it will get rid of blood stains and everything immediately, and other stains, you better rinse it out immediately because you will take the color out of your furniture and clothes and rugs and everything.

#14

Insulation

[Attendee]Versus Styrofoam, and would old Styrofoam, for example, be not as bad as like new Styrofoam.

#15

Insulation (2)

2009

But a lot of that sustainable building stuff is really toxic stuff.

#16

Ionizers

So, I found it was okay if you had the ionizer on when you're not in the house.

#17

Ionizers - Keep In Separate Room

[Aajonus]The ions? When I did tests with those all through the seventies, they were all bad. Because what happens if you're in the room, you have to understand the ions are bombarded. And what happens, they split molecules, and these are toxins that are split into finer particles.

#18

Ionizers - Leave Room, Fans

Your Alpine equipment is pretty good.[Attendee #2]How about a fan?

#19

Metal Jar Tops Rust

[Aajonus]On the internet I found a place. [Kathy]Can you give us their number?

#20

Natural Swimming Pools

[Attendee]I have a 24,000 gallon water tank and we've been swimming in it, it's a pond. We have guppies in there.

#21

Over Acidity - Slant Bed Upwards

[Attendee]No, I lifted just the head of the bed.[Aajonus]

#22

Perfume Allergy - Lots of Fat

2007

[Aajonus]That's not really. So, what it can do is some of those pendants that you can wear that say they clean the air, what they do is they generate ions on. California, we all know about too many protons goes a long time without raining and everybody gets crazy.

#23

Plant Growth From Algae, Urine and Eggshells

2006

So, do you put milk in your jacuzzi or no?[Aajonus]

#24

Plants

2006

That's a good thing. When I was living in the city, I had plants all over my house. It took me a good five hours a week to water all my plants, but I had good air in my apartment.

#25

Plastic Too Hot or Cold - Outgasses

[Attendee]Do you get milk in plastic?[Aajonus]I don't. That's why I have all these glass bottles.

#26

Silverware

[Kathy]Don't use this kind of a spoon? [Aajonus]I'm not saying don't. I'm just saying if you don't like the taste of metal use wood- wooden spoon, It's up to you, but if you're using silverware, real silver, there's mercury, there's lead. There's all kinds of toxicity that- you know how silverware tarnishes that's a mold. Flakes off into your food. I don't care what stage it is. Even if you can't see it and you just polished them. That's a chemical, so a solvent gets into your food. Stainless steel is fine. Brass is again, highly mold reactive.

#27

Termites

2012

Which ones should I be buying? [Aajonus]I would buy the oil based one. They say neither has any VOCS in it, volatile organic compounds in any Cedar product, however, I tried the water soluble one and usually oil is more toxic, more compounds in it. But the water soluble one seemed to give me a headache, and the oil soluble one did not.

#28

Termites - Peppermint Oil

[Attendee #2]How long does it last? If it soaks into the wood, it's forever. Especially if it has worm holes already in it.

#29

Toxins From Shooting Guns

[2004]When you're shooting and filter out a lot of the contamination.I know people who do, even if you just cover your face with a silk cloth, you prevent a lot of it from going into your lungs.
