Your extra meat that was running around, you had leftovers, or you could get some kind of acid to dissolve it, right? And then you'd have all of this waste product and this massive amount of fluid.
That's how virus work in the body. It's better to have parasites, best to have parasites. Second best to have bacteria. Virus if you have to.
